Welcome to Arts and Craft Month

So, if you are not already aware, March is arts and crafts month. What does that mean to me? I’m actually going to focus on themed entries for arts and crafts this month. I won’t promise there won’t be a periodic stray off topic post, but I thought it would be a good challenge because I LOVE arts and crafts. Anyone who knows me well and in person, knows how much I enjoy creating and making new things. Most have gotten handmade gifts from me on a regular basis. Continue reading

BR – Pale Demon by Kim Harrison

I just finished Pale Demon and I can’t decide if it’s my favorite book or if The Outlaw Demon Wails is still my favorite. You can ask my husband, I pushed my bed time late last night because I wanted to know what was going to happen. Those not familiar with the hollows series but enjoy urban fantasy with none of the sex scandals that gets caught up in other series, you really should take a stab at Kim Harrison’s books. The basic premise is that the supernatural, referred to as Inderlanders, come out of hiding after humanity is nearly wiped out of a existence by tomatoes that were genetically altered wrong. Rachel, a witch (or is she? *winks*) is the main narrator taking you on a journey through her life as she goes from being a very naive individual to someone who’s a lot more aware that things are not always as they seem, nor is life black and white.
