Feeling Silly

Extremely. We were at the horse stables today in the barn. A barn filled with hay. Okay, so this is how I feel silly: I have hay fever and the hay? It wasn’t helping it. It felt like I was saying an intentional pun, when I wasn’t. I just have hay fever and grass (hay) tends to make me break out in hives, streaming tears, and a runny nose. Indian First Attempt

One of the difficult things about living in the middle of no where is the lack of diverse food choices when it comes to eating out. Both Joe and I love our ethnic food. I am feeling much better than I have in recent days. Of course, I’m feeling like I’m ready to drift off while I sit and write this. I’m exhausted. I went for a run with Joe and Star this morning. That was an experience. Star, who loves to run, but on her own terms, tried to sham out on us more than once. Sprint, stop, smell things, mark, sprint again, drag butt, sprint, smell, continue Correction: tried to sham out on Joe. I was trying to just keep running.

My legs are sore. My calves ache and my whole body is a big ache. My way, I guess, to make up for missing three sessions of bootcamp last week. Add in that I pretty much cleaned the house because of the last week of neglect (no commenting husband). Continue reading
