Breeze

This is a character based off my mother and images in her head. Breeze is a bad ass chic who’s a vampire. That’s pretty much it. My mother only gave me a few guidelines for the piece:

1. She had to have blond hair.
2. Her eyes are lavender to violet.
3. She has to wear leather.
4. She has to have tattoos.

There’s really no other background information to her. My mother said she reminded her of a character from a book series she read. In the series, the main character was a female bounty hunter who gets turned. For the next couple of pieces I do with this character, I’m going to try to play off that. And if I can, I’m going to try to get my mother to build more of a back story. There’s so many endless possibilities with this.

What did I learn by doing this piece? The image is much crisper saved as a .tif format. Not that anyone can see that in the pictures below because they’re all in jpg format. Need to be more careful about shadows. If you look carefully because I used a background prop from Daz’s environment and due to the light position and the trees, my shadows hit on the backdrop. It’s hard to see that before render because lightdome pro doesn’t show long shadows unless I spot render it. I didn’t happen to spot render in that area. Lesson learned.
