Joe has been extremely frustrated with his blazer. Right after he got back from SERE, he attempted to ford a river with four days worth of rainfall in it and pretty much killed everything on the vehicle. The vehicle has had an extremely rough idle since the incident. He spent all day today rebuilding the throttle body and it’s still rough BUT it’s not dying at stop signs and stalling out now… or it didn’t when he drove it home. I really won’t go into much more discussion than that (he’s embarrassed about the situation), but I have to admit, that I’m really amused by the situation. Things happen, mistakes get made, but we keep on moving forward and roll with it. I think that’s the best way to live.
But to add to that, it’s been downright freezing ass cold here in the south. Cold, but with no snow. It’s wrong on so many levels.
Below is a scarf I made for a friend overseas. Yes, I actually remembered to take pictures before it was packaged up for shipping! I had to take the pictures outside because of the lack of natural light in the house (I swear, the next surplus of money we have and I am replacing all the light bulbs in the house so my pictures don’t look yellow)! I love the yarn I used in this and have two skeins left of it. I don’t know what I will do with those yet, but I will think of something.

I’ve also been sorting through photos taken last year. I didn’t realize how many I had and how cluttered the folders had become… it’s quite an endeavor at the moment. I don’t usually mind organizing things, but I find organizing digital things frustrating, especially when there’s an overwhelming amount of duplicates and backups of things.

We have no real plans for this weekend. It’s a three day. No bootcamp is on monday, but we’re encouraged to do cardio. I will probably be running the track then. I’m thinking of going to the pool tomorrow, mostly because I didn’t feel that the spin class we did this morning was that challenging. It was hard, but not as hard as it usually is in a regular spin class. I have no idea if that makes sense or not.
Lastly, happy Friday the 13th! I’m not superstitious, but I thought I would make a note about the day.
Wow I didn’t even think about it being Friday the 13th until… right now. And it’s the 14th now. Haha oh well, I’m not superstitious either. I think it’s funny when people are. (Is anyone superstitious anymore, really?)
That scarf you made is beautiful. I love the color.
I can officially verify that the scarf is epic <3
@Erica – Thanks ^_^ that is probably my favorite color out of all the stash yarn I have right now.
@Peregrine –
I was so happy you loved it and that it’s getting used!
